Dr. Ehrin Weiss is a licensed psychologist. She completed her undergraduate degree at St. Bonaventure University & her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees at a top ranked Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Houston. She completed her internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston Medical School and a two-year APA accredited post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is licensed to practice in Texas and New York and is a registered provider with the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Dr. Weiss has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, has had several articles published in Houston Family Magazine and Midland Times Magazine, and has been an invited speaker for many local organizations. She believes that people have the ability to make their lives better and acts as a partner in that process. She uses primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which has strong research support as an effective approach to psychotherapy. Her work is also heavily informed by Interpersonal Neurobiology and the TEAM approach.
